Our contractor sales staff has over 100 years of cumulative experience in horticulture. Besides sales, this includes but is not exclusive to nursery production, shipping, municipal, design, roses, native species, new introductions, and garden centers. This wide range allows us to combine our expertise to better serve our clients. We work in an open office concept which allows someone to help you when your salesperson is out or on the phone.

	Jeff Wolters Wholesale Manager E-mail: jeff@johnsonsnursery.com Office: 262-252-4980 Cell: 414-940-5723 Jeff has been with Johnson’s Nursery since 1973. As the wholesale manager, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge seldom equaled. He seems to remember who bought what, when, and where it went. Jeff has been involved with many professional organizations over the years including WLCA, Wisconsin Nursery Association, and most recently the Urban Forestry Council. Among Jeff’s many responsibilities besides sales as wholesale manager are those of arranging and scheduling deliveries when needed. He knows how much can be loaded on different size trucks and how long it will take to get it to your destination. Being an outdoor enthusiast, Jeff spends the little free time he has hunting and fishing.
	Paul Schwabe Sales Representative E-mail: paul@johnsonsnursery.com Office: 262-252-4980 Cell: 414-940-9706 Paul has been with Johnson’s Nursery since 1996 when he moved from Jewel Nursery in Minnesota where he had also been in sales since getting his degree in Horticulture from UW-Madison. Having been with Johnson’s Nursery for such a lengthy time, Paul has good familiarity with the many clients we’ve had over the years. Though Paul is known as Johnson’s staff rosarian, his knowledge of plant species, size and hardiness is one of the best. In his free time when he isn’t spending time with his wife and two daughters, Paul is partaking in his favorite pastime of fishing.
	Bill Smithyman Sales Representative E-mail: bsmithyman@johnsonsnursery.com Office: 262-252-4980 Cell: 414-940-4372 Bill joined Johnson’s in 2006 though he has enjoyed working in the profession over 37 years after getting his degree in forestry from UW-Madison. This includes 18 years in municipal work as a manager and 14 years as the owner of a floral and garden center. Bill’s experience has taught him to understand the value of service when it comes to working with clients. In addition, his graduate work in landscape architecture and the opportunities over the years to work with designs has taught him the value of plant diversity in our environment. Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and their adult children and grandchildren. His favorite pastimes include travel and golf.
	Vanessa Mueller Sales Representative E-Mail: vmueller@johnsonsnursery.com Office: 262-252-4988 Cell: 414-940-4373 Vanessa is our newest member of the wholesale department (2010), and brings her passion for plants and a sunny disposition to our team. After graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Horticulture, this native Iowan worked the last 9 years in the Illinois nursery industry doing everything from nursery management to landscape design. Now happily transplanted to Wisconsin, she is using her knowledge, experience and infectious energy to sell Johnson’s Nursery plant material. Vanessa enjoys gardening, bird watching, hiking, sailing and spending time with family and friends.
